Jonathan Schrier was born in Florida and grew up in Curacao. He has been diving and collecting fish his whole life. His father is a fish collector for the past 45 years. Jonathan helps with collections of specimens and does different tasks around the property.
Jordan is from Pittsburgh, PA. He graduated from Thiel College with a degree in Conservation Biology with minors in Wildlife and Behavioral Biology. He started working for Dynasty in August 2016 as an Aquarist. He helps maintain life support and cares for our marine specimens.
Eric was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where he attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and achieved a bachelor’s degree in marine science in 2014. He began working with Dynasty in June 2014 as a Transport Specialist and a Diver. His daily tasks vary from diving / collecting to transporting fish all over the country, as well as general labor around Dynasty.
Dynasty welcomed Sandy on board in March 2014 to take over the accounting and day to day operations of the front office. She is in charge of accounts payable/receivable and oversees daily office operations.
Before joining the Dynasty team, Sandy spent 18 years in the manufacturing industry doing many different positions, including accounting, customer service, and managing plant operations. She is originally from Mississippi, and greatly enjoys her Florida Keys home. She loves the ocean, boating, fishing and snorkeling year round!
Juan joined the Dynasty team in January 2009. As Lab Manager, he maintains best practices in animal husbandry that result in consistent output of high quality stocks.
Juan is originally from Colombia. While there, he received his B.S. in Marine Biology from the JTL University of Bogota and was involved in several eco-friendly reef diving and education programs. Juan moved to the Keys in 2000 to work for a breeding aquaculture facility. He then went on to receive his M.B.A. from University of Phoenix.
Juan currently lives in Marathon with his wife and daughter, along with their dog and cat.
Bucky manages the dive crew and organizes collections every week. He started at Dynasty in September 2001 as a box boy before joining the dive crew in 2005 as a junior diver.
Bucky was born in Louisville, Kentucky and lived there until his family moved to Marathon in 1999. He graduated from Marathon High School in 2004.
Ben coordinates daily operations at Dynasty Marine and is in charge of marine life collections and new project development. He first started working at Dynasty in 1988 as a box boy, and returned in 1995 after finishing college. He became an official business partner in 1998.
Along with working at Dynasty, Ben is a representative for Marine Life Commercial Fishery on the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council. He is also the VP of the Florida Marine Life Association.
Ben is a native Conch, born in Key West and raised in Marathon. He received his Bachelor's degree from Florida State University in 1995. He lives in the Keys with his wife and two sons.
Travis graduated from the University of Florida with a BS degree in Wildlife Ecology & Conservation. As a Florida native, he enjoys being on and in the water. Travis has taught SCUBA and is an avid cave diver.
He joined the Dynasty sales team in October 2017, working with both Domestic and International customers.
Mike joined the Dynasty team in April 2018. He is part of the dive team, helping with collections and
Originally from Massachusetts, Mike attended the University of New Hampshire where he received a BS degree in Marine and Freshwater Biology. He has loved fishing since he was a toddler and hopes to one day have his 100 ton license. He is passionate about conservation and all wildlife.
Vince graduated from the University of Miami in 1974 with a degree in marine science. Since then, he has worked in the marine aquarium industry, mainly in the wholesale livestock part of the saltwater aquarium business. He has established and operated wholesale companies in the Miami area, established collection stations in many parts of the world, as well as imported fish from all over the world.
In 1999, Vince joined Oceans, Reefs and Aquariums (ORA) at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution in Ft. Pierce, FL where he led the Sales department and was instrumental in marketing aquacultured fish and corals. Now with Dynasty Marine, he is proud to be working with his old friend Forrest Young, and representing the finest Caribbean supply to customers all over the United States.
Kyle is originally from Indiana, where he studied mechanical engineering. His previous work was with hot rods and muscle cars. He joined Dynasty in December 2015 as a fish collector / diver and helps with special projects around Dynasty.
Erika is originally from Seattle Wa, were she earned her bachelor degree from the University of Washington in Aquatic fishery sciences, from there she moved to Oregon to earn a post bachelor degree in aquarium sciences specializing in aquatic medicine. She worked and volunteered for various public aquariums and wholesale facilities for the past 9 years and has been a member of the Dynasty team since January 2015.
Skip has been collecting and shipping marine specimens with Dynasty Marine since 1990. Before working here, he was involved in the industry as a boat captain and educator.
Skip was born in New Jersey, but has spent most of his life in Marathon and considers the island his home. He studied at Florida Atlantic University and earned his B.A. in Geography.
Frank was born and raised in the Keys and the ocean has always been a huge part of his life.
His father, Forrest, introduced him to seamanship, diving and fishing at an early age.
At age 14, he scrounged up enough spare cash to purchase a 13' Boston Whaler, and after that he was hooked. Over the years he has progressed to much larger vessels, and his passion for the ocean has grown.
After college, Frank found his way back to Dynasty after a few less than perfect jobs. He rejoined the Dynasty team in August 2012 as Sales Manager and is also part of the dive team.
Forrest Young founded Dynasty Marine in 1983. He has over 30 years experience with fish collecting and breeding, deep-water diving, and aquarium keeping. As head of the company, Forrest overseas all sales and daily operations, and is involved in all tasks both great and small.
Forrest is originally from Allentown, PA. He studied Biological Sciences at East Stroudsburg University, receiving his B.S. in 1976 and his M.S. in 1978. He moved to the Keys in 1978 and has been in the industry ever since! He lives in Marathon with his wife, Nineke, and their dog and cat.
Pam was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and recently "retired" to Marathon. She is our Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator.
Her daily duties consist of receiving and processing customers’ orders, working with our sales force and managing the logistics of all customer shipments. She has been on the Dynasty team since May 2016.
