Internships are available for bright, hardworking candidates, throughout the year.  The selected individual(s) will have the opportunity to work with the Dynasty team in an interesting and fun environment, all while gaining hands-on experience in the industry.  You will be involved in activities such as weekly packing and shipping of fish, tank maintenance and cleaning, facility organization, daily feeding (even the sharks!), acclimation and quarantine of wild-caught animals, and helping staff with a wide variety of projects ranging from repairs and plumbing to animal life support.  There is no "normal day" here at Dynasty because there is always something new going on.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow with an existing business in an interesting field.  The successful applicant will have a background in marine biology, or a working knowledge or marine animals, plus sales experience to build on existing accounts.  This position will primarily consist of in-house sales to existing and new wholesale customers around the world.  Methods of customer communication will mainly be email but phone calls and the occasional site visit are also required.  Compensation will be a combination of salary and commission.  A major bonus opportunity will exist by growing current and new accounts.  Dynasty Marine will guarantee a higher base salary for the first 39 weeks to allow time for the representative to progress into their new position.  Benefits package including vacation, sick days, holidays and 401K PSP retirement plan. Applicants should be undergraduate students in Biology or related fields at a credited University or College.  You must be able to lift 30 lbs and be a hard worker who is willing to get your hands dirty.  A background in Caribbean fish identification is helpful, but not required.


The internship program requires a minimum commitment of 2 months with 30-35 hours per week of work.  This will allow the candidate to have time for additional outside employment and other activities.
